Three ways to produce precision welded pipes
The first production method:
The tube bllet (plate, strip) is directly formed and welded into a pipe, and its main processes are plate and strip forming welding, and sizing. Features: Few production processes, simple engineering processes, short product production cycles, and slightly lower product precision.
The second production method:
The tube billet (plate, strip) is first directly formed and welded into a certain size of pipe, and then cold drawn or cold rolled into a finished pipe, commonly known as DOM electric welded steel pipe. Its main processes are forming, welding, sizing, cold rolling or cold drawing (with or without mandrel), or continuous cold drawing (ie. electric welding-cold drawing combined production line).
Features: The production process is dispersed, the process flow and production cycle are long, the floor space is large, the product size accuracy is good, the inner and outer surfaces are smooth, and the mechanical properties and metallographic structure are good.
The third production method:
After the tube billet (plate, strip) is directly formed and welded into a certain size of pipe, it enters the continuous reducing machine for cold reduction to form a finished pipe. lts main processes are forming welding and continuous cold reduction.
Features: compact production process, simple process flow, high production efficiency of the unit, fast change of specification range, suitable for the production of small diameter and thin-walled electric welded steel pipes.
